Are you in the market for an electric vehicle? Going electric has been a very popular choice with car buyers in recent years. All the amazing benefits of going electric are hard to ignore, and many car companies are coming out with their own EVs. Join us here at Price LeBlanc Nissan as we go through the highlights and differences between the 2022 Nissan Leaf and the Tesla model 3 electric vehicles.Â
Price ComparisonÂ
The 2022 Nissan Leaf has a starting MSRP of $27,400 which is significantly less than the Tesla Model 3 starting MSRP of $42,690. While the Nissan Leaf is half the price of the Tesla Model 3 it doesn't mean you are missing out on any of the benefits of the electric vehicle benefits or the luxurious features. The 2022 Leaf Model has five different trim levels to choose from, allowing for maximum customizability, when in comparison the Tesla Model 3 only has 3 different tiers and less ability to customize without extensive additional charges.Â

PerformanceÂ
With a single charge the 2022 Leaf model battery lasts up to 226 miles. This is slightly less range than the Tesla Model 3, but with the price difference and the easy charging capabilities the Leaf model does not perform with any less quality than the Tesla EV. The Leaf model has more cargo space and flexibility with 30 cu.ft. of space and 60/40 rear split seats to accommodate any cargo you may have. Â
Interior & TechnologyÂ
Both the Nissan and Tesla EVs have comparable interior features, yet the Nissan has everything the Tesla offers at a much lower price point. You don't have to break the bank to get luxury. Not only do their interiors line up but they both have advanced technology characteristics that allow for that seamless driving experience.Â
